About the Role

At Floki, we develop how restaurants and suppliers interact, providing them better opportunities through AI and algorithms, thus helping them to make smart money decisions. We look for a strong candidate to lead our design practice. You will be responsible for leading all design workstreams (discovery, UX, UI and more), (re)defining design principles and building a high-performing design team. You will work closely with both founders and other leadership on a very fun and exciting stage of intense testing and discovery. We want someone to embrace our mission to truly transform the daily lives of both restaurant owners and suppliers and increase their businesses survival rate.
The Design Lead will work closely to leadership and product team to:
Lead design sprints, involving product, development and business teams;
Run squad specific design tasks (e.g., user journey design, process/service review);
Support design team members through squad specific tasks (e.g., wires/mocks, screen developing);
Support design experiments/tests (from A/B testing to interviews) ;
Create and ensure design principles, tools (e.g., design system) and best practices;
Co-lead brand positioning Hire and develop design team members;
5 years of experience at digital native companies || digital products;
Working at top tier startup;
Solid experience leading journey / business discovery phase;
Solid experience building digital products / journeys;
Solid experience working at multidisciplinary teams using scrum/agile methodologies;
Experience running analytics design experiments;
Experience supporting other designers;
Flexible profile with a "can do" mindset.

We are a SaaS enabled Marketplace startup with a plug & play solution to bring the procurement area in fragmented industries to the age of A.I..
Our mission is to improve the procurement operation & financial health of fragmented food retailers by providing them with the same resources, technology and bargaining power that only the large companies had.
Our founders are Luigi and Marcelo, engineers by training (POLI-2012 and UFSC-2011), with 11 combined years of experience at McKinsey & Company, substantial experience in AI and Digital Transformations, with MBAs from U.C.Berkeley-2018 and MIT-2017.
In Sep-2020 we received our Pre-SEED investment from Iporanga Ventures and are now engaging in a high growth SEED phase.
We are in a ~30 people team and will reach ~130 by end of 2022
